Send customer lists from your Data Warehouse to Google Ads in one click and always keep them in sync. Your lists can be sent to target Search, Shopping, Gmail, Youtube, and Display Ads on Google.

  4. Upsell Non-Email Openers — The majority of your customers don’t read your emails, unfortunately. For those non-readers, get in front of them on Google and Youtube for cross-selling and upselling to new products. This is a clever use case we see all the time.

How it Works

  1. Create an audience in GrowthLoop.
  2. Every 15 minutes, we'll generate an updated version of your customer list and send it to Google Ads.
  3. At the same time, GrowthLoop will remove users from your audience that no longer qualify and add newly qualified users.
  4. Google Ads will match users with their database and create a Customer Match Audience.
  5. You can see all your Google Ads audiences in your Audience Manager.
  6. When you create a campaign in Google Ads, you can select your Customer Match Audience for targeting.

Why use GrowthLoop and Google Ads?

Google Ads is a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising platform run by Google. It can place ads in Google’s Search, Shopping, and YouTube products on desktop and mobile channels, as well as some non-search websites that are part of the Google Display Network. It serves ads to users based on search keywords, the user’s browser cookies, and a bidding system for ad placement.

Connecting GrowthLoop to your Google Ads account allows you to use customer lists based on a single source of truth in your cloud data warehouse. That helps streamline Google Ads audiences within your customer journey and ensures the audiences are accurate and relevant. 

After connecting GrowthLoop to your Google Ads account, you can configure how often the lists are exported.

How to set up GrowthLoop and Google Ads

GrowthLoop can export audiences to GoogleAds to use in marketing campaigns. To get started, you'll need an audience in GrowthLoop and a Google Ads account, associated with an email. If your organization has multiple Google Ads accounts, make sure you know which one you need to use for this export.

Step 1

Go to Destinations in the GrowthLoop platform.

Step 2

Search for and select Google Ads.

Step 3

Sign in with the Google Ads account you are using.

Step 4

Click Allow to grant permissions to Audience Router.

Step 5

Configure the Destination based on your needs. Select the Team, Ad Account, and Frequency. Choose a Name for the destination to help you find it later. 

Step 6

Click Create to connect the accounts.

After connecting the accounts, navigate to the Audience you wish to export and set up the export. Select the options you need for Export name, Export schedule, User consent mappings, and any Match Field Settings.
