GrowthLoop can export audiences to SFMC to use in its various marketing tools. To get started, you'll need an audience in GrowthLoop and a SFMC administrator user.
To integrate SFMC and Growthloop:
Step 1
Log into SFMC as the Administrator user.
Step 2
Open the top-right menu and select Setup.
Step 3
Navigate to Platform tools and select Installed Packages.
Note: If the Installed Packages option is not available, make sure that app is installed in your SFMC instance.
Step 4
Create an API Integration. Set Component to API, and Integration to Server-to-server.
Step 5
Click Edit and choose all of the settings you want your GrowthLoop and SFMC integration to use.
Step 6
Make note of the Client ID, Client Secret, and Authentication Base URI.
Step 7
Go to Destinations in the GrowthLoop platform.
Step 8
Search for and select Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Step 9
Configure the Destination based on your needs. Select the Sync Frequency, and choose a Name for the destination to help you find it later.
Step 10
Enter the SFMC Client ID, Client Secret, and Authentication Base URI.
Step 11
Click Create.
To export an audience:
Step 1
In SFMC, click the drop-down menu with the business units in the top-right corner of the screen. Locate the Business Unit you will use the audience with, and find that Business Unit’s MID.
Step 2
Navigate to the Data Extensions in SFMC, locate the Audiences folder, and mouse over the folder. Note the ‘CategoryID’ number.
Step 3
Open your Audience in the GrowthLoop platform, and Save it. Click the Export Audience button.
Step 4
Select Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the Export destination.
Step 5
Enter the Business Unit MID, then put the ‘CategoryID’ in the Data Folder Category ID field.
Step 6
Select any options you wish to set under Personalization fields, then click Export.
