Re-engage abandoned cart users with Braze

Before they churn, send an email with Braze to remind your high-purchase-intent users that they still have items in their carts.

Find different use cases

Why implement this use case?

  • Customers who put items in their cart were likely considering a purchase but stepped away. Re-engaging these high-purchase-intent customers is a way to remind them about the product and finish the transaction.
  • Making contact with users through another channel, like text, can get their attention. Braze’s platform provides email and text channels, so you can reach out to customers through new channels to get their attention.
  • You can expand your relationship with these customers and turn disengaged customers into loyal advocates with thoughtful messaging and offers.
  • Offering customers special discounts can help these shoppers with waning interest feel like they’re getting more bang for their buck. CapitalOne Shopping reported that 75% of customers abandoned carts due to a lack of coupons, and that buyers were 18% more likely to switch back to an old brand with a coupon.

Goal of this use case

Avoid losing out on potential sales and revenue by re-engaging high-purchase-intent users and encouraging them to check out the items that they put in their cart.
