  1. Setup your Data Warehouse as a Source in GrowthLoop.
  2. Setup your customers table from Data Warehouse.
  3. Activate Mailchimp as a destination.
  4. Create an audience in GrowthLoop.
  5. Select customers that have not spent in the last 90 days.
  6. Export to Mailchimp.
  7. Navigate to Mailchimp (your audience will take 2-4 hours to fully populate).
  8. Your audience will continue to load to Mailchimp every day with updates.
  9. Create a Mailchimp email campaign to re-engage these churned customers with a special offer.

How to set up this use case in GrowthLoop

Step 1

Add your data warehouse as a source in GrowthLoop (or your data activation tool).

Step 2

Create your customer table in your data warehouse and ensure it includes fields for existing customer status, purchase history, and customer email addresses.

Step 3

Activate Mailchimp or other email marketing tool as a destination.

Step 4

Create an audience in GrowthLoop. 

Step 5

Apply filters to select customers that have not made a purchase in the last 90 days.

Step 6

Export the audience to Mailchimp.

Step 7

Navigate to Mailchimp and locate the new audience.
Note: Your audience may take two to four  hours to fully populate, so you may need to return later. Your audience will continue to load to Mailchimp every day with updates as new churned customer leads meet the audience criteria.

Step 8

Create a Mailchimp email campaign designed to re-engage these churned customers with a special offer.

Step 9

Measure your results based on the sales from these promotions.
